This is a two day course which is specifically designed to update the knowledge and skills of current First Aid Responders (FARs).

Particular emphasis will be placed on changes which have occurred in relation to the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) First Aid Responder standard, skills and theory since original certification and focuses on:

• Essential Life Saving Techniques
• CPR and Choking
• Common injuries and illnesses encountered in the workplace

To qualify, participants must be holders of a valid First Aid Responder certificate and pre-course reading is highly recommended.

Certification is valid for a further two year period.
